Whitney Ray and Scott Harshbarger were united in marriage at a 4 p.m. ceremony Jan. 30, 2010, at Cornerstone Church in Bethalto. Pastor Jason Pierce officiated. A reception was held at the Holiday Inn in Alton.

The bride is the daughter of Kevin and LaDawna Mixon of Wood River. She is a 2006 graduate of East Alton-Wood River High School and a 2007 graduate of Alvareita's College of Cosmetology. She is employed with Fantastic Sam's.
