Tony and Marsha Ribes of Benld are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Melissa Marie, to Daniel Louis Poelker, son of Greg and Cheryl Poelker of Belleville.

The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Gillespie High School and a 2007 graduate of St. Louis University. She is currently pursuing a master's degree at McKendree University and is employed with the Department of Defense at Scott Air Force Base.
