Jeff Jordan of Kinston and Ginger Bostic of La Grange announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Jordan, to Paul Hawkins, both of Kinston.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Dexter and Pam Hawkins of Kinston. 

The bride-elect attends East Carolina University.

The bridegroom-elect graduated from East Carolina University and serves as an officer in the U.S. Navy.

A wedding is planned for April 10, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Kinston.
