The parents of April Platto and Adam Sheppard are announcing the couple's engagement and forthcoming marriage, which will take place Saturday, April 21, 2010, at Peace United Church of Christ in Jerseyville. A reception will follow the wedding.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Jerry and Jane Platto of Jerseyville. She is a 2003 graduate of Jersey Community High School, and is also a graduate of Lewis and Clark Community College and Alvareita's College of Cosmetology. She is a self-em...
